Hilltown Barn

This barn was restored from a near derelict state to its current use as a stunning family dwelling for the farming family.

The project involved major underpinning and stabilising, sensitive rebuilding of the walls and original features along with new floors, internal walls, roof structure. The barn was converted into living accommodation to include a kitchen, lounge, dining room, bathrooms, bedrooms.

The roundhouse itself had only previously been seen in old photographs and so this required a completely new structure. The distinctive roof and the stonework is something of which we are particularly proud.
